About Me
- Josh Blomquist
- Hello! My name is Josh and I am going to see if I can use this old blog of mine as a type of journal. I have a lot going on in my life and think I should document some of it. That way I can save these experiences for myself and my children.

Ugh work..... and babies!!
I work tomorrow at 11 a.m until 7 and I am tired of working on sundays. I hate it with a fiery passion what does my manager not understand about I DON'T work on sundays not maybe or most the time but i don't. I like sunday to be a reset day for the next week and now I don't have that. Anyways, my family is watching "How to Train your Dragon" i bought it while back and it is probably the best movie I have seen in a long time! but i have seen it like 5 or 6 times so I figured I would do this. My cousin Brianne and her husband Eric had their baby two days ago the birth of Marley Ann Goettsche!! Makes me realize how old I am actually getting because being a parent isn't too far away in my future. I might post a picture of the baby on here but I haven't okayed it with the mother yet so i will let you know. Some days it seems like my leave date isn't coming fast enough and others it seems like it almost tomorrow which is too soon. Thats is the extent of my blog hope you enjoyed ha!

Oh what to say...
I need the remote from "Click" I just wouldn't over use it. I hope that when I finally end up leaving on my mission I will be able to let go of the things at home and focus on only the things I need to in order to be successful in Mississippi! I know that is where I am supposed to go and I can't wait. The closer I get to leaving the more I realize its going to be harder than I had thought to leave my life behind. I just hold on to the fact that i am putting the Lord first so he will put me first or at least thats how I see it. If you don't put Him first why would He put you first?
Oh here are some fun facts for whoever reads this, I bought Kinect for my family and lets just say that i feel sorry for those of you who own a Wii.... The Kinect for Xbox is probably the coolest thing ever made and I only have two games I bet by the time I get off my mission they will have even better games maybe a first person shooter? Like a Call of Duty for it that would be awesome!
You know how people have their "thing".... well I don't have that one thing. That thing that people have a passion for and are really good at. (Person one says, "Hey you remember Jim?" Person 2 says, "Oh yeah the amazing guitar player or skier?") I don't have a category. I would like one, I try to pick a hobby or a passion but I need so many I can't ever just pick one. I am good at everything but not amazing at anything. Konner my cousin has football and baseball, Brady my brother has track, Jayce has sports in general. I am going to pick my little niche i guess and become fantastic at that. I pick snowboarding and guitar!
I feel like this blog needs more substance... Its seems to be random ramblings of a bored pre-mission Mormon with out a definite point. I guess thats how it will be until I get on my mission when i actually have one definite point in my life. So those of you reading this haha bear with me, this blog will be usefull eventually. Anyways I am done rambling on and on.

Yes, its happened.
Okay so apparently I am now a blogger. We will see how long this lasts, hopefully this can be a place where you can be updated on my mission and my life before and after... haha if I keep it up for more then a few days and post more then once a month. Although this is my first post and am certain very few people will end up reading this, I don't really care but my family all better read it!! Ariel will probably be the first to read this and my first "follower" whatever that is. I will use this much more then facebook because.... I just like it better.
Oh I am reading the Book of Mormon all the way through and plan on finishing the day I leave. I challenge all of you to do the same! If you wanna join in we are on page 41 and read 11 to 10 pages a day! It doesn't really matter how many pages you read just as long as you read it from cover to cover by Jan. 19th.
I guess I will fill everyone in whoever you all are.... I am going on a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and will be leaving on January 19, 2011! I will be gone for two years from that day and I hope to get my stories on here for all of you to enjoy while I am gone. If anyone who is reading this Blog has any questions about me beliefs or what exactly it is I will be doing you can write me a letter to an address that will be revealed at a later date or get onto Mormon.org. I have a profile on Mormon.org you should find a link to it on this page.
